Features

Everything you need for clinic-speed documentation.

Structured clinical documentation

Letters with proper clinical structure

Comprehensive clinic letters and op notes with correct structure, terminology and formatting — drafted from what was actually said in the room.

OMFS & dental essentials

Specialty templates built in

Extraction notes, biopsy reports, MDT outcome letters, denture reviews, paediatric reviews. Built for oral surgery, not adapted from general practice.

House-style learning

Your voice, not the machine's

Drop in ten of your previous letters. MaxScribe learns your phrasing, formatting and sign-off — future drafts come out sounding like you.

Risk management support

Flags, consent and audit built in

Red-flag screening cues, consent documentation prompts and a complete edit history, so every letter stands up to scrutiny.

How it works

From chair to signed letter in minutes.

STEP 01

Capture

Dictate during or after the consultation — chairside, clinic room or theatre.

STEP 02

Draft

A structured letter appears with key fields, templates and clinical highlights filled.

STEP 03

Review

You read, edit and approve. Nothing goes anywhere without your sign-off.

STEP 04

Send

Letters out to the GP, GDP and patient; structured note ready for the record.

STEP 05

Continuity Optional

Your next clinic opens with a concise brief of every patient on the list.

Built for OMFS & dentistry

Documentation that speaks your language.

Purpose-built for oral surgery and dental practice, with the document types you actually produce.

Operative note scaffolding

Every field, every time.

Structured prompts walk the note through procedure, anaesthesia, findings, technique and closure — so nothing important is missed, even at the end of a long list.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How does MaxScribe handle patient data?

UK data residency throughout, encryption in transit and at rest, and a privacy-first design: audio is processed for drafting and not retained beyond the episode. MaxScribe is never trained on your patient data.

Can it integrate with my existing systems?

Drafts export as structured text ready for your EHR or practice management system, and direct integrations are part of the alpha roadmap — tell us what you run and we'll prioritise it.

What happens if the draft contains an error?

Nothing leaves MaxScribe without clinician review and signature. Every draft is checked against the consultation, every edit is logged, and the treating clinician remains responsible for the final document — by design.

Is MaxScribe a medical device?

MaxScribe is a documentation tool — it does not diagnose or recommend treatment. A DCB 0129 clinical safety case is in preparation ahead of NHS deployment, prepared by a practising NHS clinician who is also a contracted Clinical Safety Officer.
