A planned commitment
I plan to donate 10% of profits from selling items in the spheno labs shop to an NHS charity.
Shop sales will help fund my work at spheno labs on technology intended to help NHS teams. Separately, I plan to give 10% of shop profits to an NHS charity. Supporting the company and making a charitable donation are two distinct parts of the plan.
The plan covers physical products, clothing and paid digital models sold through the shop. It is a commitment about shop profits, rather than 10% of each item’s price.
I’ll choose and name the beneficiary before sales open, and agree how the arrangement will work. No charity partnership or NHS endorsement is currently in place.
Before launch, I’ll publish how profit is calculated, which costs are deducted and when donations will be made. The intended calculation is 10% of positive shop profit before deducting the donation itself. The accounting details are still to be finalised.
The shop is currently a collection of working ideas. No shop sales are open and this page does not report donations already made. Kickstarter campaign funding is separate from the future shop-profit plan.
