The idea

The direction is a clean, easy layer: a stand collar, full zip, two zipped pockets and a small lowercase wordmark. Enough warmth for the walk out. Enough restraint for the way back.
A plain back, useful pockets and a shape that sits comfortably over a shirt or tee. For when “just circling back” involves going outside.

I’ve found an on-demand softshell option with no stock commitment. I’m comparing it with the fleece concept shown here before choosing the exact garment, finish and fit.
I’m looking for clothes you’ll want to keep wearing: a comfortable feel, a good fit and a finish that holds up. The sample checks will cover seams, washing, shrinkage and the printed or stitched detail. Price and launch date are still undecided.
